After a number of interesting and varied jobs through the 1990's, from Barman to Bingocaller, Delivery Driver and Stock Controller I eventually decided to use my numeracy and analytical abilities undertaking to complete the ACCA Accountancy qualification. I joined a specialist audit company in March 2000 and took my first exams that year, completing my 15th and final exam in December 2003, becoming a member of ACCA in April 2004. At the start of 2007 I decided it was time for a short break before facing a new challenge. I have retained that company as my first client, continuing to prepare the management accounts and I am now working to build a new client base of my own.
