In the latter part of the 20th century, advances in the study of psychology and related areas made the way in which we take control of our lives now so much easer, so mush more powerful. Coaching, NLP, Hypnotherapy and advanced learning techniques have made much of what restricted and limited people in the 20thC now irrelevant. Take phobias, the methods used in the beginning of the 20thC to get rid of a phobia would have taken years; in the mid 20thC it took weeks; now any phobia can be over come in just a mater of hours. It is the application of some of the advances in the understanding of the mind. The study techniques now available can lift any student to the highest level with minimum work.
